Hey everyone, just a quick update:
It is almost 1:00am on 04/30/19 as I write this. I recently moved into my new studio and have embarked on a journey of online musical discovery as I learn and challenge myself with new methods of composition that I have not used before. I’m also listening to concerts from classical musicians and movie composers alike. And I’m rediscovering things I thought I already knew. It has been a year and a season of difficult challenges that have pushed music to the edge of my life, but I’m back into it again and ready to go all out. I’m so excited to share the new music I’ve been working on, but it isn’t quite ready yet. Please stay tuned and I will release more information and samples as things progress.
Ah music, sweet music. It is a language where the composer can share feelings… emotions… and even a part of his soul with the listener. It is astounding how much music can add to a story – if the story is told well and the music is produced with the utmost attention to detail. That is why I want to expose my mind to the best music and stories out there, to revel in the artistry of truly talented musicians and film-makers and story tellers across the world and to find something fresh and new in my compositions while not departing from the fundamentals that make music what it is: a truly beautiful language of the soul.
